How 3PL pricing works

The 5 line items on every 3PL invoice.

Every 3PL charges across five categories. The only difference is which ones they publish and which ones they hide.

Receiving (inbound)

Cost of unloading inventory. First 2 hours per shipment are free.

Storage (monthly)

Charged per pallet, cubic foot, or bin. No aged-inventory penalty.

Pick & pack (outbound)

Cost per order with item-count tiers.

Value-added services

FBA prep, kitting, returns, inserts — priced per unit/action.

Shipping (pass-through)

Carrier charges at our negotiated rate. No markup (except 5% SFP fee).
